The BCA is currently negotiating and finalizing numerous agreements in the five boroughs of New York, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester. Our experienced and knowledgeable staff manages these contracts and responds to daily requests on various topics and topics that affect our industry. The main objective of the Association of Building Contractors is to ensure the negotiation and management of collective agreements with construction unions. This BCA for Ukraine supports the implementation of Ukraine`s national health policies and plans, such as.B. the legal framework and health-related concept papers « On the development of the public health system in Ukraine », « On a new health financing mechanism », « On affordable medicines », as well as support for ongoing reforms of the health sector and decentralization policies – the concept of reform of local self-government and territorial organization of power; Environment – the concept of adaptation to climate change. The CBA follows the vision of the Cabinet of Ministers` Agenda and other policy documents. The CBA measures will provide the necessary impetus to strengthen the performance of the Ukrainian health system and improve the health outcomes of the Ukrainian population. The BCA will support the further implementation of reforms and the strengthening and modernization of the Ukrainian health system in accordance with its laws. The adoption of important legal acts by the Verkhovna Rada (the parliament) in 2017, as well as several government decrees, initiated the process of transformation of the Ukrainian health system. Thus, on October 19, 2017, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine initiated the reform by adopting the Ukrainian Law on Government Financial Guarantees for Public Medical Services (Law 2168) and amending the State Budget, and on November 14, it adopted the Law of Ukraine on Improving the Affordability and Quality of Medical Services in Rural Areas. These documents provided a sound legal and policy framework for the implementation of new healthcare financing agreements. This CBA aims to support the government`s policy priorities in the health sector based on the country`s disease burden, regional and global knowledge of what works, the challenges and opportunities of the health system and the consideration of obligations under the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.
Ukraine has the possibility to use the harmonisation of European Union standards (including in the areas of public health and safety, access to and quality of medicines, mobility of human resources, taxes on tobacco and alcohol products, food safety standards, etc.) to improve health. The activities supported by the CBA are in line with the WHO European Work Programme, the Roadmap for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, building on the experience of Health 2020, and a number of key global or regional strategies. .
